Dutch greenhouse horticulture is globally renowned for its leading position in innovation and efficiency. However, labour is becoming scarcer, costs are rising, and the demand for more sustainable cultivation methods is growing. Robots and artificial intelligence are the keys to solving these issues, but the gap between technology and the day-to-day realities of growers is still significant. This is where the HortiHeroes Hackathon, in collaboration with RoboCrops and partners, can make a real difference.
During this Hackathon, you will work on generating ideas and practical solutions. How can we use technology to reduce labour, increase productivity, and achieve sustainable growth? Together with your team, you’ll tackle a concrete case under the guidance of industry experts.
