Generation.Energy prepares our living environments for the energy transition through design-based research into space requirements. Their comprehensive approach considers renewable energy sources and the additional infrastructure needed for energy systems. They also address other spatial challenges, such as urban densification, biodiversity, mobility, and livability.

The company is based in The Hague and emerged as a spin-off from the urban planning firm PosadMaxwan in 2016. Since then, Generation.Energy has positioned itself as a leading expert in integrating energy systems with spatial planning. Their multidisciplinary team consists of urban designers, landscape architects, and experts in spatial planning and energy transition. They bridge the gap between data and strategic design, using imagination to simplify spatial challenges and accelerate the energy transition.
